WEST CHESTER, PA — The law firm Gawthrop Greenwood is once again donating holiday gift funds to local families in need through the Chester County Department of Children, Youth and Families (CYF). Funds for gift cards were collected from employees by the firm’s Happiness Committee, which includes (pictured here left to right) Municipal Paralegal Jody Bowden, Litigation Paralegal Karen Carter, Firm Administrator Lisa Powell and Receptionist Barbara Moore. Carter has been organizing the outreach effort since 2012.

In addition, Gawthrop Greenwood is donating funds on behalf of its clients to SILO and Neighborhood Services Center in Oxford, PA.  Both organizations are supporting the 90 people displaced by a fire that destroyed several buildings in downtown Oxford on September 14, 2023. Displaced residents are being connected with local and county nonprofit organizations that are helping them to rebuild their lives.

“Through our Municipal Law and Family Law practices, we coordinate many services for the residents of Oxford as well as the Chester County Department of Children, Youth & Families,” said Stacey Fuller, Chair of the Management Committee at Gawthrop Greenwood. “It is our honor to be able to further assist during the holidays.”
