WEST CHESTER, PA — The holiday spirit is in full swing at the Fred Beans Automotive Group as they invite customers for a festive meet-and-greet with Santa Claus at select Pennsylvania and New Jersey locations. Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to contribute to the fight against hunger in the community.

Throughout December, all Fred Beans locations will donate a portion of each sale and service bill to one of five local food pantries. The automotive group aims to donate 50,000 meals or more by the end of the month, with dealerships also collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food items to bolster the total number of meals provided through this food drive.

Santa Claus will be making appearances at various Fred Beans locations for free family photos, including with pets:

  • Saturday, Dec. 2 at Fred Beans Kia of Langhorne
  • Saturday, Dec. 9 at Fred Beans Subaru of Doylestown
  • Thursday, Dec. 14 at Fred Beans Ford of West Chester
  • Friday, Dec. 15 at Fred Beans Ford of Washington (NJ)
  • Saturday, Dec. 16 at Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown

AutoRewards members – customers who are part of the Fred Beans loyalty program – will receive $25 in bonus points when they donate a food item during their photo session with Santa. From Dec. 1 through Dec. 31, AutoRewards members can also earn double points when purchasing or leasing a new vehicle and can even transfer these points to a friend or family member.

The hunger-relief organizations benefiting from the monetary and food donations include the Bucks County Opportunity Council, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, the Flemington Area Food Pantry, the Salvation Army of Boyertown, and the Salvation Army of West Chester.

“We are excited to once again host photos with Santa as a way to connect with our loyal customers, meet new ones and all work together to feed our neighbors in need,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group. “There is no better way to spread goodwill than by helping others.”
