WEST CHESTER, PA — Venerable Holdings, Inc., a financial services company, has announced the recent appointment of Kristina Magolis as General Counsel of its new wholly-owned subsidiary, Venerable Investment Advisers, LLC. Operating out of West Chester, PA, Magolis will also serve as the Chief Legal Officer of Venerable Variable Insurance Trust, a variable insurance trust composed of mutual funds managed by Venerable Advisers.

Magolis brings to the table an impressive track record in the legal and regulatory oversight of both retail and insurance mutual funds. Prior to joining Venerable, she served as Associate General Counsel for Equitable Investment Management, where she played a pivotal role in business strategy, product development, and corporate governance. Her previous stints include roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Equinox Funds.

Licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, Magolis holds a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University. Her extensive experience in the registered investment adviser and registered fund space is expected to fortify Venerable Advisers’ strategic direction.
