KENNETT SQUARE, PA — LCH Health and Community Services has named Bonnie Battalia director of development, adding an executive with more than a decade of nonprofit experience to oversee fundraising and strengthen relationships with donors and community partners.
Battalia previously served as chief development officer at FeedNC, a Mooresville, North Carolina, organization addressing hunger and food insecurity.
Her work there included donor relations, community partnerships, grant funding and business development, according to LCH.
Battalia will work with employees across LCH’s three locations and cultivate relationships with organizations and donors supporting the healthcare provider’s mission.
“I believe that, just like access to food, everyone should have access to healthcare,” Battalia stated. She cited LCH’s history, whole-person care model and focus on equitable healthcare access as factors that attracted her to the organization.
Founded in 1973, LCH provides healthcare and patient services for adults, teenagers and children. The organization accepts Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance.
LCH also uses a sliding-fee scale based on income and family size and provides care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
