BHHS Fox & Roach Executives Recognized as RISMedia’s 2023 Newsmakers

DEVON, PA — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS®/The Trident Group announced that CEO Larry Flick, V, President Joan Docktor, SVP of Digital Marketing & Innovation Rajeev Sajja, and Yardley-Newtown Sales Professional, Becky Markowitz are being recognized as RISMedia‘s 2023 Newsmakers. RISMedia’s Real Estate Newsmakers identifies those who are making headlines as a result of their newsworthy contributions to the real estate industry, and their efforts to positively affect the consumers and communities they serve. Flick has been recognized as a Trailblazer, Docktor as a Crusader, Sajja as a Futurist and Markowitz as a Crusader.

Under Flick’s visionary leadership, Fox & Roach REALTORS® has ranked #1 in the nationwide BHHS network of 1,400 broker affiliates consecutively since 2015. Flick began his career in real estate and financial services as a mortgage consultant in 1993 and has served in a management capacity since 2006. He most recently served as President of Trident Mortgage Company, one of the largest Realtor®-affiliated mortgage companies in the United States. Flick is also a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Flick has been recognized as a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker and one of Philadelphia Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs. Flick sits on the board of Fox & Roach/Trident Charities and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Docktor, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS® remarked, “Helping others is—and always will be—the most rewarding part of my career. It feels rewarding to have fostered a culture of giving back.” Docktor fosters a culture of giving back, which has become a hallmark for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, focusing on relationships rather than just transactions. Her affiliations include VP of the Board of Trustees of Fox & Roach/Trident Charities, as well as Board of Directors for Bright MLS and Chairperson of NAR’s 2021 Real Estate Services Advisory Group. She is on the Board of Directors of Cradles to Crayons and is a mentor at The Forum for Executive Women. Sajja started his career with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Fox & Roach REALTORS® working in technology, which inspired him to pursue his passion in digital marketing and resulted in him leading all of the firm’s marketing technology initiatives. “Every day I have a chance to positively impact the work of our sales professionals to develop a better work/life balance and create more income due to the marketing technology solutions we offer,” says Sajja.

In 2022, he helped launch Listings Concierge, a service that powers associates to win more listings, and helped develop the Digital Influencer Audit, which reviews and makes recommendations for associates to enhance their online presence. Sajja and his team also reviewed and selected an enterprise CRM and productivity platform for all HomeServices of America companies, which is launching company-wide by the end of Q1 2023. They also worked to simplify the firm’s tech offerings and retool its corporate intranet to focus on what agents do every day, naming it “Day in the Life.”

During 2022, Becky Markowitz worked with the Philadelphia branch of Cradles to Crayons, chairing the Ready for Learning Backpack Challenge for the Yardley-Newtown Office. She also raised more than $10,000 as part of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Charities’ Cradle to Crayons. In 2022, Markowitz also received the Women’s Empowerment Award from Women of Reform Judaism Received, as well as a HomeSnap agent award.

“I always tell the people I work with that there is going to be pain, and there is going to be fun,” she says. “Buying and selling homes is one of the biggest purchases and decisions in people’s lives. The reasons and people are always different, which is challenging and rewarding. The best part of my job is the amazing people I meet and get to work with, both clients and colleagues. Real estate is a contact sport and a team effort; I’m the quarterback!”
