WAYNE, PA — Bala Consulting Engineers Inc. has appointed Shawn Carlin chief growth officer to oversee revenue expansion, business development and national market growth as the Wayne-based engineering firm seeks to broaden its project portfolio and client relationships.

The appointment establishes a senior executive position dedicated to growth strategy following five years of expansion at Bala.
