MALVERN, PA — 2X, a go-to-market services firm for B2B organizations, has appointed Emily Atkinson as chief client officer, a newly created role overseeing the company’s global client operations.
Atkinson will lead teams responsible for client partnerships, delivery, and services, with a focus on aligning strategy, execution, and technology across the company’s offerings.
She brings more than a decade of experience advising senior executives across industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, retail, financial services, and technology.
Prior to joining 2X, Atkinson served as vice president and client partner at Epsilon, where she managed global healthcare and pharmaceutical accounts and led client strategy and operations.
Earlier roles included leadership positions at Brightfind, where she worked with organizations to align technology and business objectives.
2X said the role was created to address challenges companies face in executing go-to-market strategies.
Atkinson said the focus will be on improving execution.
“Great go-to-market strategies don’t fail because of ambition or talent,” she said. “They fail when the system behind them can’t support execution.”
In her new position, Atkinson will oversee client partnership and growth, client delivery, and services practices, and will support the integration of AI-enabled workflows and operational systems.
She holds a master’s degree in organizational communication from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and Spanish from Winona State University.
