2X Appoints Drew Murphy as Chief Financial and Operating Officer

2X

MALVERN, PA — 2X said it recently appointed Drew Murphy as chief financial and operating officer to lead its finance and operations functions as the company expands.

Murphy will be based at the company’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Philadelphia area and will oversee finance, accounting, information technology, legal, mergers and acquisitions, and delivery operations, the company said.

He brings more than 25 years of experience working with high-growth companies, including roles as a private equity-backed chief financial officer, where he led deal processes, integration efforts, and the development of operating systems.

The appointment follows 2X’s acquisition of The Kiln, a Clay partner focused on go-to-market engineering, as part of its efforts to expand its technology and services capabilities.

“Finance and operations should strengthen our unified GTM engine and support decision-making across the business,” Murphy said.

Before joining 2X, Murphy held senior financial leadership roles at several private equity-backed services and technology companies and spent more than a decade at PwC advising on accounting and transaction-related matters.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Temple University and was a certified public accountant for more than 20 years.
