KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Family medicine physician Dr. Eva Geracimos has opened an MDVIP-affiliated practice in Kennett Square, expanding access to membership-based primary care for patients in southern Chester County, northern Delaware, and northeastern Maryland.
The practice, located at 415 McFarlan Road, Suite 215, is accepting new patients and operates under MDVIP’s membership model, which emphasizes preventive care, longer appointments, and ongoing physician-patient relationships.
Geracimos, who has more than 20 years of experience in private practice, is shifting to a model that allows additional time for patient consultations, preventive screenings, and individualized health planning.
MDVIP operates a membership-based primary care network designed to supplement traditional health insurance rather than replace it. Patients pay for membership benefits that include an annual wellness program with advanced screenings and testing, as well as same- or next-day appointments and after-hours communication for urgent health concerns.
The arrangement is intended to give physicians more time to assess patients’ medical histories, monitor potential health risks, and develop preventive care plans.
“Membership medicine allows me to focus on my patients throughout unhurried appointments, often an hour or longer, and partner with them to achieve their physical, mental, and wellness goals,” Geracimos explained.
The new office will serve both existing patients transitioning to the practice and individuals seeking a primary care physician.
Geracimos is board-certified in family medicine. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College and completed her residency at Christiana Care Health Services in 2006.
The Kennett Square opening adds another membership-based option to the region’s primary care market, where patients can choose a model offering expanded physician access and preventive services alongside conventional insurance coverage.
