BERWYN, PA — Envestnet announced the agenda for its Elevate 2026 conference, where the company plans to focus on strategies and technology tools designed to help financial advisors manage the needs and risks associated with high-net-worth clients, including concentrated stock positions.
The conference will take place May 19-20 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix and is expected to draw thousands of advisors, registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, asset managers, and home office executives.
Envestnet said the event will feature more than 42 breakout sessions organized around practice management, portfolio strategy, tax management, and client growth initiatives.
Research cited by Envestnet estimates U.S. investors hold roughly $1 trillion in concentrated stock positions, often tied to equity compensation or inherited holdings. The company noted that individual stocks tend to be more volatile than diversified indexes, creating portfolio concentration risks for wealthy investors.
“Wherever advisors are in their growth journey, our AI-powered wealthtech and investment solution ecosystem can provide the support and the actionable intelligence they need to meet the evolving goals of high-net-worth clients,” Chris Todd, chief executive officer of Envestnet, said in a statement.
A featured session titled “Solving the Concentration Paradox: Protecting Success by Broadening Opportunity” will examine diversification strategies for clients with large single-stock holdings. According to Envestnet, the session will focus on tax-efficient diversification methods and portfolio management tools available through the company’s platform.
Michael Featherman, Envestnet’s head of advisor sales and wealth consulting, said concentrated stock management has become an increasingly important issue for advisors seeking to reduce portfolio risk while minimizing tax consequences.
“Envestnet seeks to deliver a coordinated framework for concentrated equity management, leveraging hedging techniques alongside UMA-based, tax-aware transition strategies,” Featherman said.
The conference will also include sessions on tax overlay strategies, direct indexing for high-net-worth investors, and tax management approaches for model portfolios.
Additional programming includes keynote appearances by Nick Saban and artificial intelligence author and educator Conor Grennan, along with panel discussions, continuing education sessions, and advisor training workshops.
A pre-conference workshop scheduled for May 18 will focus on high-net-worth practice management and advisor-client relationship development.
The full conference agenda is available at Envestnet Elevate 2026 Schedule.
