WEST CHESTER, PA — This November, Gage Strength Training will turn determination into philanthropy as the community attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Chain Push-Up — while raising funds for veterans in need.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bishop Shanahan High School, aims to gather more than 150 participants to surpass the current record of 138 people. The effort supports Team Foster, a Pennsylvania nonprofit that provides accredited service dogs to injured and disabled veterans coping with physical and psychological challenges.
“This is more than just breaking a record,” said Devin Gage, owner of Gage Strength Training. “It’s about showing what happens when a community comes together — pushing for something bigger than ourselves and giving back to the men and women who’ve sacrificed for us.”
Participants can register at pushupworldrecord.com to join the record attempt or donate directly to Team Foster through charity.pledgeit.org/TeamFosterDonation. The event will be filmed and verified under Guinness World Records’ official standards to ensure every push-up counts.
Founded in 2012, Gage Strength Training has become one of West Chester’s leading fitness facilities, known for blending personal coaching with community-driven initiatives. Team Foster, created in memory of Captain Erick Foster, continues its mission to empower veterans with service dogs that restore confidence, independence, and connection.
