United Way Announces 2nd AK at Uptown Show After 1st Show Sells Out in Just 20 Days

WEST CHESTER, PA — Due to popular demand, United Way of Chester County is thrilled to announce a second benefit concert featuring national recording artist, Alexandra Kay, after the first show sold out in just 20 days. In response to the sold-out show, the artist has agreed to do a second matinee show at 3:00 pm on March 25th at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center in West Chester. This event, presented by PECO and Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, will bring together music fans and supporters of the United Way for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, all while raising funds for the organization’s Community Impact and Innovation Fund.

“We could not be more excited at the response to this fundraising concert, and we are so appreciative to Alexandra Kay for agreeing to do a second show to further support United Way of Chester County,” said Christopher Saello, President & CEO of United Way of Chester County. “This event will be a great opportunity for her fans and soon to be fans to see her in the Philadelphia region while also supporting a worthy cause and helping to make a difference in the lives of those in need.”

Generating millions of plays weekly on her videos, (AK) commands the attention of country music fans. The young singer/songwriter has accomplished a multitude of career milestones to date, including her appearance on NBC The Voice, a starring role in the Netflix Original Series ‘Westside’ and reaching the number one spot on the iTunes country chart independently four times with releases “I Kinda Don’t, All The Cowboys, That’s What Love Is” and most recently in October 2022 with her hit “Backroad Therapy.” AK toured in Summer 2022 with Tim McGraw and made her Grand Ole Opry Debut in November 2022.
