CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Wildcats everywhere wave your hands up in the air because SALT presents Disney Channel’s High School Musical with three casts: Traditional, Adult, and with the Acting Antics All-Abilities crew.

Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends, and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. With all the hits you want to see and hear from the movie, Disney’s High School Musical is fun for the whole family!

“In the spirit of starting something new, we’re producing High School Musical trifold with three equally amazing casts,”  comments Lauren McComas, President and Artistic Director of SALT Performing Arts. “All three are bopping to the top and wiping away their inhibitions in their own personal way. In keeping with one of the main HSM themes that it’s okay to feel uncomfortable when you’re trying something new – but it’s not okay to let that stop you, we have seasoned performers as well as some that are not sticking to the status quo, and are instead following their dreams to go go go! I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.”

Melissa Ferkler, Director of Acting Antics, agrees, “We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with SALT for the fifth year. This experience is priceless for everyone involved.”

We are so excited because SALT is such a magical space filled with the kindest people in the theatre world.” Acting Antics capitalizes on the strengths and abilities of their participants to observe and copy gestures, tones of voice, and mannerisms.
