In the highly anticipated sequel to the 2016 animated smash hit, Sing 2, the cast of lovable animals returns for more musical mayhem. This time around, the plot follows a gorilla named Johnny (voiced by Taron Egerton) who has big dreams of becoming a rockstar.

However, when he finally gets his chance to audition for a major music label, he discovers that the industry is not as friendly as he thought it would be. Even worse, the label executive (played by Pharrell Williams) wants to sign Johnny’s arch-nemesis, a tiger named Mike (also voiced by Taron Egerton). With the help of his father (voiced by Peter Serafinowicz) and his friends, Johnny sets out to prove that he has what it takes to be a star. Along the way, he learns some important lessons about friendship, family, and following your dreams.

Filled with catchy songs and toe-tapping dance numbers, Sing 2 is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

August 19 – Luca

In the movie Luca, a young boy named Luca (Jacob Tremblay) discovers that he is actually a sea monster from another world. When he is accidentally pulled into our world through a whirlpool, he befriends a girl named Giulia (Sophia Loren). Together, they go on adventures and learn about the different cultures of their two worlds.

As they become closer, Luca starts to feel like he belongs in our world and begins to question whether he should return home. Ultimately, he must decide where his true home is and whether he is more human or monster.

The 2021 movie Luca is a heartwarming story about friendship, belonging, and self-discovery.
