EXTON, PA — Cirque Italia is bringing its high-energy, retro-themed “Gold Unit” show to Exton Square Mall from August 29 through August 31, offering a unique blend of circus artistry and 1950s nostalgia under its signature white and blue big top.
Billed as an immersive dream adventure, the performance centers on a teenager who falls asleep and wakes up in a vibrant reimagining of the 1950s. Audiences can expect a whirlwind of sock hops, drive-in theaters, jukebox hits, greased hair, and vintage Americana, brought to life through world-class circus talent.
The show is designed to appeal to all ages, combining the timeless charm of mid-century Americana with an international roster of performers. Artists from Argentina, Brazil, Romania, and beyond will deliver an array of gravity-defying acts, including juggling, contortion, trampoline stunts, and the heart-pounding Wheel of Death.
“Cirque Italia has pulled out all the stops this year to take you on a magical dream adventure,” the company stated, promising a spectacle that’s as family-friendly as it is visually stunning. Notably, all Cirque Italia performances are animal-free, emphasizing human talent and artistic expression.
The Exton engagement includes seven performances over three days:
- Friday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, August 30 at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, August 31 at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $10 and range up to $50 depending on availability. The company also offers a special promotion: one free child admission with the purchase of a full-price adult ticket in seating levels 2 or 3. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or at the box office, which opens on-site the Tuesday prior to the event.
