CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — SALT Performing Arts presents the World Goes Round, August 17th through 19th, 2018.

Bring-Your-Own-Food-&-Drink Dinner while entering the world of distinguished and celebrated writing team, Kander and Ebb. The World Goes ‘Round is a stunning revue of the songbook from the multi-Tony award-winning team, with the original production winning three Drama Desk Awards.

Filled with humor, romance, drama and nonstop melody, this title is a thrilling celebration of life and the fighting spirit that keeps us all going. Six amazing singers and a live pit find themselves careening through the world of love, babies, and coffee. From Cabaret to Chicago, the nonstop hit-parade features unforgettable gems, including “Mr. Cellophane,” “Maybe This Time,” “Cabaret”, and “New York, New York,” seamlessly interwoven into a passionate, harmonious, up-tempo evening of musical theatre.

  • Friday, August 17th         7- 9:30 PM
  • Saturday, August 18th     7- 9:30 PM
  • Sunday, August 19h        2 – 3:30 PM

“The World Goes ‘Round is a terrific musical revue using the songs of Kander and Ebb from Broadway classics like Cabaret, Funny Lady, Chicago, Zorba and Kiss of the Spider Woman,” says Lauren McComas, President and Artistic Director of SALT Performing Arts.  “Life – with its glories, indignities, hopes and quiet dreams – is the subject at hand.  All six cast members is a top-notch singer able to belt with the best and harmonize to perfection – not to mention possessing a variety of dancing skills from ballroom to tango to waltz.”  The cast is Alicia Huppman, Brigitte Rottman, Taylor Congdon, Patricia Haug, Mike Styer and Dave Cura.
