PHILADELPHIA, PA — In a remarkable convergence of regional talent, three Pennsylvania businesses are joining forces for an extraordinary event that promises to be one of the highlights of 2024’s cultural calendar. The East Passyunk Opera Project (ePOP), Society Hill Dance Academy, and Top Dog Cocktails have come together to present “Love Notes 3: Notes to Self.”
Scheduled for Saturday, January 13th with performances at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm, “Love Notes 3: Notes to Self” is a unique collaboration designed to showcase the exceptional artists that call Philadelphia home. Attendees can look forward to captivating performances from artists who have graced the stages of esteemed venues such as The Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, Opera Philadelphia, and the Kimmel Cultural Center.
Following the virtual premiere of “Love Notes” in 2021 and the mixed virtual and in-person debut of “Love Notes 2.0: Sour Notes” in 2022, the latest iteration of the series, “Love Notes 3: Notes to Self,” takes a more introspective tone. As the chill of January sets in, ePOP invites Philadelphians to gather for an evening of self-reflection, struggle, and growth, expressed through the power of music. This exploration of the self will not be without its lighter moments, promising levity and laughter along the journey.
The repertoire for the evening will span opera, art song, and musical theater, offering a rich and varied musical experience. Featured performers include Philadelphia-based opera singers and real-life couple, Ashley Marie Robillard and Joshua Blue, Katrina Thurman, pianist Aurelien Eulert, DJ and beatmaker Omar Saleem, and vocal artist Cookie Diorio. Visual artist K.C. Grummun will also present artistic interpretations on the theme of “Love Notes 3: Notes to Self.”
Adding a touch of sophistication to the event, Top Dog Cocktails will provide two complimentary cocktails for each guest over 21 years of age. Attendees can choose from a selection of intricately mixed drinks, including a Greyhound, Whiskey Lemonade, Blood Orange Margarita, and Peach Mango Tea.

Tickets, now available at www.epopphilly.org, are priced at $35 for general admission and $50 for a VIP experience, which includes reserved seating near the front of the stage. Both ticket types include two complimentary cocktails.
