A Holiday Masterpiece Returns: Brandywine Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” Dazzles

WEST CHESTER, PA — This December, the stage will once again come alive with sparkling snowflakes, twirling dancers, and the enchanting melodies of Tchaikovsky as the Brandywine Ballet presents its annual production of The Nutcracker. Running from December 19 through December 21, 2025, at 700 S. High Street in West Chester, this cherished holiday tradition captures the timeless magic of the season through grace, artistry, and wonder.

Audiences will be transported into the world of young Clara and her mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer, as they journey from an elegant Christmas Eve celebration into a realm of dreams filled with dancing snowflakes, a battle with the mischievous Mouse King, and the breathtaking beauty of the Land of Sweets—where the Sugar Plum Fairy and her court delight with dazzling performances.

  • Friday, December 19: 10:00 a.m.* & 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 20: 11:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 21: 11:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m.
    *The 10:00 a.m. performance is a special student and senior group show. Limited public tickets may be released closer to the performance date.
