POTTSTOWN, PA — The Owen J. Roberts High School Girls Lacrosse team defeated Penncrest by a score of 17-9 to capture the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association 3A Girls Championship, held in State College on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
The state championship marks the first ever for Owen J. Roberts Girls Lacrosse and caps off a season in which the Wildcats went 27-1 during the regular season. The veteran-filled Wildcats squad featured nine seniors on its roster, including eight who are expected to play for NCAA Division I teams this fall.
