PHILADELPHIA, PA — Dunkin‘ and its greater Philadelphia-area franchisees have announced the winners of the 2025 Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarships, awarding $100,000 to 20 standout students from Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and parts of Delaware. Among this year’s recipients are two remarkable students from Chester County: Madeline Chantler of Landenberg and Needah-e-Fatema Hafeezali Gangji of Malvern.
Chosen from over 1,600 applicants, the 20 recipients each received a $5,000 scholarship to support their pursuit of an undergraduate degree at a college, university, or vocational-technical school of their choice this fall. The program, launched in 2009, aims to reduce the financial burden of higher education and has now distributed a total of $900,000 in scholarships to 380 students.
Madeline Chantler, a graduate of Avon Grove High School, will attend West Chester University of Pennsylvania as part of the Class of 2029. Needah-e-Fatema Hafeezali Gangji, who attended Nairobi Jaffery Academy International High School and currently lives in Malvern, has not yet decided on her college but is set to graduate with the Class of 2027.
“The Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program is part of our ongoing commitment to support students in our communities, help them pursue their goals, and build a foundation for a bright and successful future,” said Jamie Struwe, Dunkin’ Senior Field Marketing Manager. “Our franchisees are passionate about investing in the future leaders of our community, and this program provides them a way to give back to the people and neighborhoods that fuel their businesses.”
Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, leadership skills, and dedication to their schools and local communities. The scholarships are open to both high school seniors and current undergraduate students attending part-time or full-time.
All 2025 recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony on July 22 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The event will highlight the students’ accomplishments and celebrate their commitment to furthering their education.
As Dunkin’ continues to expand its community support initiatives, these scholarships reflect a broader mission to empower the next generation of leaders while giving back to the neighborhoods that sustain the brand. For Chester County’s Madeline Chantler and Needah-e-Fatema Hafeezali Gangji, this support marks a significant step toward achieving their academic and professional dreams.
