MEDIA, PA — Delaware County Community College is seeking additional adjunct instructors in six skilled trades fields at four southeastern Pennsylvania locations as rising student demand increases the college’s need for teaching capacity.
The college is recruiting instructors in automotive, building and facilities maintenance, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
Openings are available for courses taught in Coatesville, Downingtown, Media and Drexel Hill, according to the college.
DCCC prefers candidates with at least 10 years of experience in their respective fields and availability to teach both daytime and evening classes.
The hiring push reflects increased student demand for the college’s skilled trades programs, though DCCC did not provide enrollment figures or specify how many adjunct instructors it plans to hire.
