WEST CHESTER, PA — Parents, mark your calendars! On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, the Chester County Intermediate Unit will be hosting its annual Summer Adventures Camp and Activities Fair. Taking place at West Chester East High School located at 450 Ellis Lane in West Chester, PA, the fair is a must-attend event to kick-start your summer planning.

The fair, which runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., offers a perfect opportunity for families to explore a wide variety of summer camps, activities, and local vendors. The event invites students from grades K-12, along with their families, to meet with representatives, gather information, and plan an unforgettable summer.

Last year, the fair showcased an array of vendors including summer schools, tutors, and specialized summer camps focusing on music and theater, sports and exercise, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. This year, expect the same level of diversity and more!

Jay Della Ragione, special events coordinator for the Chester County Intermediate Unit, emphasizes the fair’s potential to bring a summer vibe into the heart of winter. “This fair will empower students and their families to explore a variety of summer activities and camps from across the county, all located in one convenient place,” she said. “There will be raffles, games, and fun activities for all to enjoy. We aim to bring a little bit of summer fun and warmth into the cold of winter.”

Sponsored by CCRES, the Summer Adventures Camp and Activities Fair is free to attend, making it an ideal family night out. In case of inclement weather, a snow date has been set for Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
