Historic Downtown West Chester Lights Up for the Holidays

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester is the place to be this holiday season! From Friday, November 25 through Sunday, December 4, historic downtown West Chester will be alive with lights and festivities. Moreover, the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is hosting Chester County Hospital Lights Up Holiday Weekends, a month-long celebration, in West Chester. The event will feature dozens of immersive experiences for visitors to enjoy.

Shoppers can enjoy one-of-a-kind stores and restaurants while taking in the dazzling holiday decorations. There will be something for everyone every weekend, including Small Business Weekend on November 25-27. Retail stores will also give away free reusable shopping bags with in-store purchases! Five of the bags will have a ticket that can be turned in for a $50 VISA gift card.

Make sure to check out The Uptown Singers!’ free outdoor concert on the steps of the Historic Chester County Courthouse on Saturday, December 3 at 2 pm. Santa will ride on a truck with the First West Chester Fire Company at 3 pm. People can also tour the professional gingerbread house competition and vote for their favorites at six different places downtown. And don’t forget, street-level metered parking will be free during Holiday Weekends in West Chester!
