PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The stage is set for the much-anticipated State of the Sixth Town Hall, an annual event that has become a cornerstone of democratic engagement for the residents of Berks and Chester Counties. Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) will once again take center stage at The Colonial Theatre on Tuesday, January 16, marking the fifth year of this signature gathering.

Rep. Houlahan’s town hall meetings have become a beacon of community engagement, providing her constituents with updates on her tireless efforts in Congress while also offering a platform for them to voice their concerns directly.

“This is more than just an annual tradition,” Houlahan said, reflecting on the importance of the event. “The State of the Sixth is a vital opportunity to engage broadly with our community, to recap the past year’s achievements, and to chart our course for the future.”

Despite what she describes as ongoing dysfunction and infighting within the House majority, Rep. Houlahan’s record speaks volumes about her commitment to bipartisan progress. From championing paid leave expansion for veterans to fostering local innovation by helping to designate Phoenixville and surrounding areas as technology and energy hubs, her work resonates deeply with the constituents she serves.

Houlahan’s office has also recently achieved a historic milestone, returning $50 million to Chester and Berks County residents since her tenure began. Yet, she insists there is more work to be done.

“I am proud of the work we have accomplished thus far, but there remains much to tackle,” Houlahan noted. “I look forward to sharing updates on the issues I hear about most often and answering our community’s questions.”
