VALLEY FORGE, PA — The Washington Memorial Heritage and David Cross of Indispensable Leadership (LLC) have announced one of their most pivotal discussions to date. The “George Washington’s Presidency: A Look Inside His Most Challenging & Inspiring Period Of Leadership” will be held at the Washington Memorial Chapel in Patriots Hall on Thursday, March 9. Doors open at 6 PM with refreshments prior to the start at 6:30 PM. This event will kick off the “Lead The George” 2023 Leadership Forum.

Leading the discussion is David O. Stewart, the esteemed, award-winning author of Madison’s Gift and The Summer of 1787. His latest historical work George Washington: The Political Rise of America’s Founding Father was the Amazon #1 Best Seller and won the History Prize of the Society of the Cincinnati.

Says Pulitzer Prize Winning Author Jon Meacham, “David O. Stewart brings his characteristic grace and skill to this portrait of the political George Washington, liberating the most elusive of our Founders from the mists of myth to discover a shrewd and approachable human being. At a time when politics seems beyond redemption, Stewart’s book is a welcome reminder of the possibilities, however imperfect, of the public arena.”

The Washington Memorial Heritage Leadership Forum Series is a History/Leadership and Author Events Program at the Washington Memorial Chapel. Drawing upon America’s Revolutionary history, the program examines the challenges and decisions faced by the country’s Founders. Analyzing their experiences, the program provides lessons that help attendees in their business and personal life.

The price will be $20 per person per session which can be paid at the door; students with proof of student status will be admitted free.
