WEST CHESTER, PA — AgConnect has unveiled the 2025 Chester County Farm Guide, a comprehensive resource designed to showcase the county’s rich agricultural landscape and strengthen connections between residents, visitors, and local farms. The new edition highlights more than 125 family-owned farms and markets, offering a detailed look at the people and products that define Chester County’s vibrant farming community.
“Whether you’re on the hunt for locally grown produce, a fun weekend activity, or you want to learn a little more about Chester County’s agricultural products and heritage, this annual Farm Guide has it all,” said Jordan Peek, project manager for AgConnect.
The guide features the Rohrer family of Rob Roy Farm in Nottingham, celebrated as the 2024 Chester County Farmers of the Year for their contributions to sustainable farming and community engagement. Also recognized is Lisa McNamara, who received the Duncan Allison Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award for her enduring dedication to advancing local agriculture.
Beyond farm profiles, the publication includes a seasonal product calendar, farm-fresh recipes, and information on Chester County’s Good Food Fest, a family-friendly event that unites local food vendors, wellness activities, and educational opportunities under one roof. Readers will also find tips on what’s in season and where to shop directly from local producers, covering everything from fresh vegetables and meats to flowers and fiber products.
The guide aims to encourage residents to support local farms and markets, strengthening the county’s agricultural economy and preserving its rural heritage. “By choosing to buy local, you’re investing in the future of Chester County agriculture,” Peek added.
Available both in print and online at AgConnect’s website, the interactive guide helps users easily locate farms and products near them. It serves as both a practical shopping tool and a celebration of the region’s agricultural traditions.
The 2025 Chester County Farm Guide is now accessible at www.go-agconnect.org, where visitors can also learn more about AgConnect’s initiatives for producers, youth, and consumers.
