HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is seeking public feedback through Oct. 20 on its construction and maintenance services as the agency accelerates road and bridge work across the state.
PennDOT’s annual customer satisfaction survey asks residents to evaluate the department’s construction and maintenance performance and how they receive information about road conditions and projects.
The 17-question survey also asks about experiences reporting concerns to PennDOT and whether respondents use the state’s 511PA traveler information services.
The survey comes as PennDOT reports improving more than 2,600 miles of roadway and advancing work on 373 state and local bridges between January and August.
The state is also moving ahead with 79 Rapid Deployment Projects representing the first round of an additional $775 million investment from the Motor License Fund over 18 months.
Under the Shapiro administration, more than 21,800 miles of roadway have been improved statewide and work has advanced on nearly 2,000 state and local bridges.
“The survey also helps us find areas where we can educate the public while learning about how the public receives road information,” PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll said.
