WEST CALN TWP, PA — Drivers in West Caln Township should prepare for more than a month of weekday detours beginning Oct. 12 when milling and paving closes Old Wilmington Road between Sandy Hill Road and Ash Road.

Old Wilmington Road will be closed to through traffic during the scheduled work hours while Pennsylvania American Water performs the roadway work.
Drivers will be directed to use Sandy Hill Road, Route 340 (Kings Highway) and Ash Road to travel around the closure.
Motorists should plan extra time and expect possible backups near the work zone and along the detour route. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The restrictions are scheduled to continue each weekday through Nov. 13.
