WEST CHESTER, PA — Verrica Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: VRCA) will present its dermatology drug portfolio to investors Monday at the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference in New York as the company advances programs spanning molluscum contagiosum, common warts and non-melanoma skin cancers.
President and Chief Executive Officer Jayson Rieger is scheduled to present Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. ET.
The presentation comes as Verrica develops its commercial and clinical portfolio around YCANTH, common warts and non-melanoma skin cancers.
YCANTH (VP-102), or cantharidin, is FDA-approved as a health care professional-administered treatment for molluscum contagiosum in adults and children ages 2 and older. Verrica is also developing YCANTH for common warts.
Molluscum contagiosum is a contagious viral skin infection affecting about 6 million people in the U.S., primarily children, according to Verrica.
The company is separately developing VP-315, or ruxotemitide, for non-melanoma skin cancers under a worldwide license agreement with Lytix Biopharma ASA. The program includes basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.
A live webcast of Rieger’s presentation will be available through the Investors/Presentations & Events section of Verrica’s website at www.verrica.com.
Verrica plans to post a replay shortly after the presentation, with access available for 90 days.
