Drivers should plan extra time when traveling along the corridor because backups and delays may occur. Use caution when approaching slow-moving work crews. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.

The restrictions are part of a $9.3 million project to preserve the western section of the Coatesville Downingtown Bypass and improve travel and safety.

Additional work includes milling, base repairs, applying a new asphalt surface, reinstalling edge-line rumble strips, and restoring pavement markings.

Allan Myers Inc., of Worcester, is the general contractor. The project is financed entirely with state funding.
