UPPER CHICHESTER, PA — A 31-year-old man wanted in connection with an alleged domestic-related assault surrendered to Upper Chichester Township Police on Tuesday, authorities reported.
Police identified the defendant as James Obyrne, 31.
According to police, the underlying incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14. Investigators allege Obyrne was involved in a domestic-related assault.
A criminal warrant was issued for Obyrne on Aug. 14 under docket number MJ-32136-CR-0000352-2026, according to police.
Obyrne turned himself in at the Upper Chichester Police Department on Aug. 18.
Police reported that Obyrne faces charges of simple assault, evading arrest or detention, criminal mischief, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
