Gilbertsville Road Closure to Disrupt Commutes for 10 Days

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers in Douglass and Upper Pottsgrove townships should prepare for a full weekday closure of Gilbertsville Road starting Monday as PennDOT begins base repair operations, officials said.

PennDOT said Gilbertsville Road will be closed between Farmington Avenue and Route 73 (Philadelphia Avenue) during daytime hours throughout the work period.

A posted detour will direct drivers to use Farmington Avenue (Maugers Mill Road), Route 663 (Charlotte Street), and Route 73 (Philadelphia Avenue).
