HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Lower Moreland Township police say a traffic stop triggered by a stolen license plate alert led to multiple arrests and the discovery of an outstanding warrant following an investigation along Philmont Avenue.

According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, officers detected a stolen Pennsylvania license plate on a silver Nissan Pathfinder traveling eastbound on Philmont Avenue from Huntingdon Pike on January 22, 2026. Police located the vehicle in the 2800 block of Philmont Avenue and initiated an investigation.

Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Charles Parks, along with two passengers, including a juvenile. Through the investigation, police allege the vehicle and the license plate were both determined to be stolen. Parks was taken into custody in connection with the alleged thefts.
