MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction will continue next week on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township as part of a $10.9 million project to ease congestion and improve safety.
From Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 31, weekday lane closures with flagging will occur between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road, and on Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and Core Creek Park.
The project, which includes realigned roadways, new turn lanes, upgraded traffic signals, and pedestrian improvements, is expected to continue through early 2026.
PennDOT advises motorists to plan for delays and allow extra travel time.
