Police Investigate Shooting That Injured Man in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old man injured Tuesday evening in the city’s Northside area.

Authorities said officers were called to the unit block of West 31st Street at approximately 5:33 p.m. on October 14, 2025, following reports of gunfire. Responding officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police have not released details about a potential suspect or motive as the investigation remains ongoing. Detectives continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
