WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured late Sunday afternoon in the city’s East Side neighborhood.
Authorities say the incident occurred at approximately 5:07 p.m. in the area of 6th and Pine Streets. Responding officers found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Police have not yet released the names of the victims, pending confirmation of their identities and notification of their families. Investigators continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
