WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Friday morning in the city.
According to authorities, the incident took place on October 3, 2025, at approximately 12:50 a.m. in the unit block of East 23rd Street. Responding officers located a 23-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Police said the case remains under active investigation, and additional details will be released when available.
