WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon in the 900 block of New Castle Avenue.
According to authorities, officers responded at approximately 3:18 p.m. and discovered a 36-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The case remains under active investigation by the Wilmington Police Department. Detectives have not released further details about possible suspects or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
