Lane Closures Scheduled for I-95 Girard Point Bridge Inspection

Traffic, lane closed

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that the I-95 Girard Point Bridge in Philadelphia will undergo inspection next week, requiring temporary lane restrictions.

From Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, the northbound deck of the bridge will be reduced to one lane between the Enterprise Avenue and Broad Street (Route 611) interchanges. The closures will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Weather may affect the schedule.

Motorists should anticipate delays and allow extra travel time when passing through the area.
