PennDOT advised motorists to expect backups and delays in the work zones and to allow extra time for travel. All activities are dependent on weather conditions.

The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract, which will reconstruct and expand U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
