Man Arrested in Sinking Spring on Child Exploitation Charges Following Multi-Agency Investigation

SINKING SPRING, PA — Authorities in Berks County announced the arrest of a 38-year-old man following an investigation into child exploitation.

On August 26, 2025, Spring Township Police, working in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations and the Berks County Human Trafficking Task Force, took Michael Mlodoch of Sinking Spring into custody.

According to investigators, Mlodoch faces charges of possessing or distributing child sexual abuse material, along with criminal use of a communication facility. The arrest followed a coordinated investigation into alleged online activity.

Mlodoch was transported to Berks County Prison following his arrest. A preliminary hearing on the charges will be scheduled through the district court system.
