Who Is He? Police Release Video of Pine Street Porch Pirate

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a package theft in Society Hill.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on September 2, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., when an unidentified individual allegedly stole packages from the front steps of a residence in the 400 block of Pine Street.

The suspect is described as a white male with facial hair and tattoos on his neck, wearing a white shirt, gray pants, and black sneakers.

Police have released video of the individual and are asking anyone with information to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094, or to reach out directly to Detective Lyons, referencing case number DC 25-09-102390.

Authorities remind the public that all criminal charges are allegations only, and any suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
