Caught on Camera: Royersford Neighbor Arrested in Alleged Burglary

ROYERSFORD, PA — A 21-year-old Royersford man has been arrested following an alleged burglary on Oak Street last week, according to borough police.

Authorities reported that the incident occurred on August 28, 2025, at approximately 3:08 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Oak Street for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the homeowner, who alleged that his neighbor, identified as Dylan Beto, had entered the residence without permission.

The homeowner also told police he reviewed interior security footage that allegedly showed Beto searching through bedroom drawers and removing items.

Following a brief search of the area, officers located Beto nearby. After what police described as a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody without incident.

Charges Filed

Beto was arrested on September 1, 2025, and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility for processing and arraignment. He faces multiple charges, including:

  • Burglary
  • Criminal Trespass
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking
  • Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot
  • Tampering with/Fabricating Physical Evidence
  • Disorderly Conduct

The Royersford Borough Police Department confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
