WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are asking for the public’s assistance following a serious single-vehicle crash late Monday morning on the city’s west side.
According to investigators, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:56 a.m. on August 18 to the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of a maroon Honda Accord that had crashed. Responding units found three occupants—a 22-year-old man, a 37-year-old man, and a 38-year-old man—who had sustained serious injuries. All three were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The Wilmington Police Department’s Special Operations Division Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of the collision and is seeking witnesses or video from the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Senior Corporal Keith Johnson at (302) 571-4415 or keith.johnson@cj.state.de.us.
Police note that any individual who may ultimately be charged in connection with this incident is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
