PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men alleged to have committed an armed robbery in the early morning hours of July 5, 2025.
According to investigators, the incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Allegheny Avenue. The complainant told police she was attempting to enter her vehicle when two unidentified males approached and allegedly robbed her at gunpoint. The suspects fled eastbound on Allegheny Avenue.
A short time later, the same individuals were reportedly seen pulling into an alley south of Allegheny Avenue, where they encountered the complainant and other victims still at the scene. Police say the men attempted to take additional belongings before fleeing in a white Mercedes sedan, last seen heading eastbound through an alley toward 31st Street.
Authorities have provided the following descriptions:
- Suspect #1: Black male, slim build, wearing a black mask and a brown sweatshirt with “1977” printed on the front.
- Suspect #2: Black male, medium build, wearing a black shirt and pants, with braided hair.
- Vehicle: White Mercedes sedan.
The Philadelphia Police Department advises anyone who sees these individuals not to approach them and instead call 911 immediately. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477).
Police remind the public that all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
