Overnight Closures Coming to Route 252 in Tredyffrin for PECO Utility Work

TREDYFFRIN TWP, PA — PECO Energy is set to begin overnight utility construction on Route 252 (Bearhill Road) in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, starting Monday, August 11.

The northbound section of Route 252 will be closed between Maple Avenue and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night through Thursday, September 4. The closure will facilitate utility work conducted under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

During the closure, motorists heading west on U.S. 30 will be detoured via Route 29 (Morehall Road) and Swedesford Road. Eastbound travelers on U.S. 30 will be directed to Old Lancaster Road, Howellville Road, and Cassatt Road. Local access will remain available.
