Philadelphia Police Release Image of Suspect in Broad-Daylight Shooting on West Loudon Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in North Philadelphia in July.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group, the incident occurred on Friday, July 18, 2025, at approximately 10:46 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Loudon Street. Police say a male victim was shot during the incident, though the victim’s identity and condition have not been publicly released.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot in the direction of Old York Road. A still image of the alleged shooter has been released by investigators, who believe public cooperation is critical to advancing the case.

Detectives urge anyone who recognizes the individual or has information regarding the shooting to avoid direct contact and instead call 911 immediately. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by dialing 215-686-TIPS (8477).
