BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that resurfacing and pavement repair will take place next week on Route 413 (Durham Road) through Bedminster, Buckingham, and Plumstead townships. The work is part of a broader effort to rehabilitate over 200 miles of roadway in the five-county Philadelphia region.
From Monday, August 4, through Friday, August 8, lane closures with flagging will be in effect on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and again overnight from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The impacted stretch runs between Dark Hollow Road and U.S. 202.
The ongoing improvements include base repairs, milling, paving, and utility upgrades. According to PennDOT, the projects are designed to enhance road safety and extend the life of the roadway by sealing surfaces with new asphalt.
Motorists should anticipate delays and are encouraged to allow additional travel time. All work is weather dependent.
