LINWOOD, PA — A 31-year-old Linwood man has been arrested following a comprehensive investigation conducted by the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office of Child Neglect, Abuse, and Exploitation Task Force, authorities confirmed this week.

According to the Lower Chichester Township Police Department, the investigation began on February 1, 2024, when a member of the department, assigned to the specialized task force, received a complaint from an adult alleging criminal conduct involving a minor.

Due to the sensitive nature of the case and the protection of those involved, officials have not disclosed the specific allegations or details of the incident. However, law enforcement stated that after a thorough investigation, the claims were found to be substantiated.

The alleged offenses took place in the unit block of Hutchinson Street in Linwood, a residential neighborhood in Lower Chichester Township. Following the investigation, Joseph Michael Hudson, age 31, was taken into custody on July 31, 2025.
