WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced temporary lane closures next week on the ramp from southbound I-476 to eastbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) for soil excavation work in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County.
The lane closures will take place on Tuesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 18, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, with flaggers managing traffic on the affected ramp. Crews will perform excavation operations as part of routine roadway and infrastructure maintenance.
Motorists are advised to plan additional travel time, as significant backups and delays are anticipated in the work zone. All activities are weather dependent and subject to change if conditions are unfavorable.
Drivers using the ramp are encouraged to remain alert for changing traffic patterns and exercise caution to ensure the safety of workers and fellow road users.
